Eshkol Nevo is one of the most successful writers in Israel. He was born in 1971 in Jerusalem, the grandson of Levi Eshkol, Israel’s third prime minister. As a child he lived in Israel and Detroit. He is a graduate of the psychology department at the Hebrew University and The Creative Writing program at Ben Gurion University. He has worked as a copywriter in large advertising agencies, as a lecturer in advertising thinking in academic institutions, and since 2014 he has been teaching and directing the “House Workshops” school for creative writing in Jaffa alongside Orit Gidli. Eshkol has published eight books to date. His books have won many awards, won the love of readers and have been translated into many languages. He is married and the father of two daughters, and lives in Ra’anana.
