Sara Paborn was born 1972 in Sölvesborg, a small town in the south of Sweden. She wrote her first novel at 16, inspired by the atmosphere in Woody Allens movie Radio Days. She had then written poetry, short stories, first chapters of novels, and music reviews for local newspaper for many years. Sara was educated as a copywriter in the early nineties. She has since worked for different advertising agencies. After having given birth to her second child, she quit her job and sold her summerhouse to be able to write full-time. The work became her debut novel Släktfeber. The book was well received by the critics and a success among the public. Sara’s second novel, The Rooster and The Sea (Tuppen och havet), came out in 2011 and was very well received. She is currently writing her third novel.
