Selva Almada is an Argentinian poet and writer. She was born in 1973 in Entre Ríos. She has published one poetry book, two novels and three short-story collections. Almada is considered one of the leading Argentinian authors in her generation, using a poignant, minimalistic language, she depicts the rural life of inland Argentina. Selva has been living in Buenos Aires for fifteen years and conducts writing and reading workshops.
