Lawnees bin Ali is a researcher and lecturer in the field of literary criticism and comparative literature at the University of Bejaya in Algeria. He was born in 1980. Alongside the first novel he wrote which was published in 2018, The Solitude of Lost Things – The Strange Story of Murakami’s murder, the author has many essays in the field of criticism in Algerian and Arab magazines.
