Petra Gropp

Petra Gropp was born in Mainz, Germany in 1974. She studied German and French language and literature at the universities of Mainz and Dijon, completed a Masters and a Doctorate and worked as a research assistant at the University of Mainz. She is an Editor for German literature at S. Fischer and works with a number of contemporary authors, including Christoph Ransmayr, Judith Hermann, Clemens Meyer, Kathrin Röggla etc. She also teaches at different universities, e.g. in Hildesheim, Leipzig and Mainz.
