Bullets

To begin with, my life took a huge turn when I was thirteen. I lived in Miami FL with my family. On the night of July 23, 2015, I was a victim of a drive-by shooting. I was injured twice and went through 6 surgeries. I was told by the doctors I wasn’t going to be able to walk. That truly hurt because I always dreamed of being a police officer. Sooner or later I realized I was stronger than that hurt girl laying in a cold hospital bed. I began to ask my mom and dad to help me up and get me out of bed. I continued to practice and finally being able to do it on my own. I started to work towards my goals and noticed I’m stronger than I thought. Shortly after I realized I can do literally anything I put my mind and soul into. To this day I’m still known as a walking miracle.
