The Man in Mangoworm

I drill into you when you least expect it,

I lurk.

Time goes on & you realize I’m there,

All over you…

You can’t get rid of me.

My presence getting stronger by the day,

Growing painfully,

Multiplying.

You can push me away,

But it pains you when I leave,

And you’re left with the wounds I created when I was there.

Or worse, you let me stay,

It will destroy you.
