Daniel Silberman

A trilingual, diverse author, Daniel Silberman was born in Chile in 1967. at the age of 10 he was forced to leave the country with his family, due to political persecution, and after his father was kidnapped, tortured and murdered by the military secret police. The family found shelter in Israel, where Daniel grew up, and returned to live in, after a 12 year period living in Boston MA from 1996 ti 2008.
Amongst his books: Downhill (2000) The three monkey brothers (childrens’ book, 2008) and The Dead Hand – short tales of a long dictatorship (2020).
Daniel is also the founder of Humans Write, an international short story contest on human rights.
