Liat Elkayam (1975), born and lives in Tel Aviv. She has been a journalist for 20 years, a critic and the vice editor of Haaretz’s literary supplement. She is still a columnist for Haaretz Magazine. Her short stories appeared in various anthologies. She teaches creative writing at Sapir College. Elkayam received the Berlinale talent campus scholarship and the 2015 Akademie der kunste (Young Academy) literary fellowship. She is currently working on her first book, to be published by Kinneret Zmora-Bitan publishing house.
